Das Schloss von Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte, das Machtzentrum der Néel, der ersten Vizegrafen von Cotentin, spielte auch eine entscheidende Rolle im Hundertjährigen Krieg, der Zeit des kochenden Ritters Geoffroy d'Harcourt. Das Gebäude bewahrt einen Teil seiner Stadtmauer, flankiert von Türmen und dominiert von einem imposanten Bergfried, der im 14. Jahrhundert von König Edward III. von England erbaut wurde. Der Besuch ermöglicht den Zugang zu den Etagen des Bergfrieds und die Entdeckung des Innenraums des «Logis Robessart».
