An architectural and spiritual revival in an authentic site. Nested in the wooded valley of Thar, the abbey of Lucerne, based(established) in 1143, benefits for more than 50 remarkable years of a protection(saving) and of a work of restoration(catering). Listed(Classified) in the titles(securities) of Historic monuments in 1928, the abbey knocks by the strength of its history(story) led by passionate men(people). Emotion arises from the absolute perusal of prémontrée architecture, of its big(great) brightness and of authenticity preserved from its environment. Your charges for admission contribute to the preservation of the abbey by supporting "Abbey foundation of Lucerne of Ultramarine", owner, in load(responsibility) with its management, with its interview(maintenance) and with its restoration(catering). Visit the abbey church the Anglo-Norman tower of which announces Gothic style, cloister and Romanic washbowl, refectory, cellar, room of the hosts, dovecote and porterie sheltering the bakery and the rooms of justice. In architecture, it is necessary to add a picturesque environment, the forest and the green park where remain(subsist) the vestiges of an aqueduct. © Abbey of Lucerne of Ultramarine
