Below the medieval castle of St Sauveur le Vicomte, I installed 19 years ago the «Atelier des petits pavés», my place of creation and exhibition. A warm and welcoming place that encourages exchanges and the discovery of the mosaic, this art several thousand years old and still alive!
For many, mosaic is an art of the past while this technique is still current and finds multiple applications (unique pieces, version for the garden, order work...).
I practice it in a very personal way for over 37 years and I like to present its multiple possibilities of implementation.
For me, it all starts with the pleasure of materials: finding them, transforming them, making them talk...and singing. I assemble all kinds of fragments and revisit the mosaic technique by favoring a fluid, airy and luminous writing.
In September, the garden is visited again: a poetic place where we could see in situation my "WIND MOSAICS", a version designed for the garden.
