Emblematic monument of the Place de la Concorde, the Hotel de la Marine is a superb architectural complex created in the eighteenth century by Ange-Jacques Gabriel, First architect of the King. Until 1798 it housed the Crown Furniture Guard before becoming, for more than two hundred years, the seat of the ministry and then of the General Staff of the Navy.
Come visit this unique monument in the heart of Paris and discover its eighteenth century apartments refurnished, its ceremonial rooms and its café in a building completely restored by the Centre des monuments nationaux.
