Inaugurated in 1975, the house of arts and culture in the heart of the New Créteil is the work of the architect Jean Fougeron. While the interior decoration was imagined by the decorator Michel Boyer. It was in 1967 that the City Council decided to build this equipment as part of the implementation program of the Houses of Arts and Culture initiated by André Malraux. The new equipment, which includes two performance halls, each with a capacity of 1,000 and 400 seats, is labelled the national stage.
