About the location

Ateliers Berthier - Opéra national de Paris
32 boulevard Berthier 75017 Paris
  • Île-de-France
The Ateliers Berthier was built in 1898 by Charles Garnier with the help of Gustave Eiffel to host the sets workshops of the Paris Opera. They have been listed in the Historic Monuments Inventory since 1990\. In addition to the activities related to the manufacture and renovation of sets, the maintenance of the majority of the heritage painted for the Palais Garnier and L'Opéra Bastille, the Berthier workshops now house a storage space for sets and costumes (nearly 60,000!) as well as a logistics platform.
