About the location

Musée Marmottan Monet
2 rue Louis Boilly 75016 Paris
  • Île-de-France
The magnificent private mansion of Paul Marmottan with the preserved Empire decor now houses the Marmottan Monet Museum. In addition to its high-period collections (paintings, sculptures, illuminations) and Empire, it is the setting for the first worldwide collection of works by Claude Monet and Berthe Morisot. High place of impressionism, it also preserves many masterpieces signed: Delacroix, Boudin, Manet, Degas, Caillebotte, Sisley, Pissarro, Gauguin or Rodin. Chagall represents the Modern era.
