The house called «Marie Walewska», was rented by Napoleon I from 1811 to 1812 to welcome his young mistress. The house, long forgotten, was inscribed in the National Monuments Inventory in 1986. Intact from the outside but emptied of its contents, it nevertheless retains tangible signs of the development of the rich home it once was.
