- Seine-et-Marne
- Île-de-France
GALLERIA CONTINUA is a contemporary art gallery founded in 1990 in San Gimignano by three friends: Mario Cristiani, Lorenzo Fiaschi and Maurizio Rigillo. To mark its presence in Europe, in 2007 the gallery opened a space in France in Boissy-le-Châtel, in the countryside east of Paris, by investing a former paper mill of 10,000 square meters: Le Moulin de Boissy. Several times a year, the renovated old factory hosts projects and exhibitions presenting monumental works of artists from five continents. In 2010, Galleria Continua embarked on a new challenge by purchasing the old paper mill in Sainte-Marie, one kilometre from the Moulin de Boissy, thus reinforcing its action on French territory. Since 2011, two large spaces have been open to the public, for a total of 40,000 square metres allocated to exhibitions in the middle of nature.
