For the first time, the 19Mwill take part in the European Heritage Days on 15, 16 and 17 September. Created at the initiative of the Maison CHANEL, this new place works to preserve and transmit the know-how of the Métiers d'art of fashion and decoration.
Located as a link between Paris and Aubervilliers, in the heart of an urban territory carried by a formidable energy, the 19M is an exceptional architectural work designed by Rudy Ricciotti inaugurated in January 2022.
The JEP tour will lead visitors to discover the architecture and some know-how of the fashion heritage:

  • the École de broderie de la Maison Lesage,
  • an overview of the skills of the Massaro shoemaker
  • the Jardin du 19M,
  • The new exhibition of the 19M Gallery;

Created at the initiative of CHANEL, this new place works to preserve and transmit the know-how of the Fine Arts of fashion and decoration.
Located between Paris and Aubervilliers, in the heart of an urban area driven by tremendous energy, the building is an exceptional architectural work designed by Rudy Ricciotti. A true creative hub, it brings together under one roof eleven arts houses, their teams and their archives (Goossens, Lemarié and Lognon, Lesage, l'École Lesage et Lesage Intérieurs, Maison Michel, Massaro, Montex and Studio MTX, Paloma) as well as ERES, representing nearly 600 artisans and experts.
The 19M also houses the 19M Gallery, a free cultural space opened in January 2022 to all audiences, focusing on the values of art crafts and featuring a café-restaurant. Through exhibitions, workshops and conferences, its multidisciplinary programming is designed with a community of local actors.
