On the roof of a building in the city center, on a furnished terrace, the association Ne pas plier has installed a «City Observatory» which offers a panorama of Ivry and its surroundings. From this point of view overlooking the center of Ivry, everyone learns to decipher the organization, the physical and social history of the city. This project aims to provide urban citizens with urban knowledge to share, which the demands of everyday life do not always allow to cultivate. To read your city is to find your critical space, to know how to take the right distance and understand the world in which we live.
