After five months of work, (re)discover the Saint-Louis chapel and the backstage of the restoration operation thanks to the mediation of a restorer of the site and a curator of the City of Paris.
The operation, which began in October 2022 and was completed in the spring of 2023, aimed to carry out a complete restoration of the 19th-century wall paintings by Merry-Joseph Blondel (1781-1853), who, since their last restoration in 1939, had become very dirty and degraded.
The structure of the altarpiece and the decorative friezes also benefited from the work of the restorers.

Church of the former convent of the novitiate of the Dominicans built by Pierre Bullet at the end of the seventeenth century, became parish church after the Revolution of 1789\. Numerous paintings including one by Guerchin as well as murals by Merry-Joseph Blondel without forgetting the ceiling of the Saint-Louis chapel painted by Lemoine and paintings by Brother André: Saint Louis receiving the crown of thorns from the hands of the Archbishop of Sens.
