Visit of the National Library of France (BnF) - Richelieu Site
The BnF opens the doors of its historic site in the heart of the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. The opportunity to admire its new museum revealing extraordinary heritage treasures, to browse listed architectural spaces (including the Oval Room, a majestic public reading room) and to meet the BnF’s crafts, presented by restorers and curators in the Salon des Lettres.
The visit allows exceptionally to discover some of the most beautiful reading rooms of the specialized departments of the BnF, the Labrouste room, library of the National Institute of Art History and the library of the National School of Charters, all illustrating this centre of excellence dedicated to the history of arts and heritage sciences.
