During this open day, you will find: - an exhibition on the donkey; - an exhibition on the French donkey breeds; - an exhibition of equine material (saddles, net, traction equipment...). You can enjoy: - a playground on donkeys: puzzle, board games, books... - access to the shop for your purchases of games and toys on the donkey, cosmetics and soaps with donkey’s milk, raw and frozen donkey’s milk; - a free and pleasant walk on the whole plain of the Bordes. The Francilianes asinerie is the first farm in Val-de-Marne to have chosen organic farming. it is also, to date, the only dairy asinerie in Île-de-France. Livestock farming covers 22 hectares of land. The original logic was to work with donkeys, to find something to collect income from the activity by taking the donkey as a starting point, and keeping the care of the animal throughout the organization.
Beyond the necessary agricultural and commercial activity, it is a whole project around peri-urban agriculture that is driven, the return to localism, towards local products made by farmers and/ or artisans proud of their status and their trades.
An educational farm and a mag'asin on the donkey has already been born. A milk processing laboratory is being set up, as are temporary exhibitions on the donkey. Everything is done at the speed of the donkey, as it should be.
