About the location

Musée de La Poste
34 boulevard de Vaugirard 75015 Paris
  • Paris
  • Île-de-France
The renovated Musée de La Poste reopened in November 2019 and highlights its collections for a journey into the heart of the history of the Post Office, postal art and philately, from yesterday to tomorrow. A recommended visit, easy and practical, through three permanent exhibition trays and temporary exhibitions, accessible to all.
The façade, emblematic of the architecture of the 1970s, revealed by Jung Architectures, becomes the first stage of the visit. The interior of the building opens onto the «totem»: a vertical installation where floating objects symbolize the different means of transport adopted by La Poste during its history. This totem connects the three thematic exhibition trays and the reception gallery.
