Donation François Kollar, Ministère de la Culture (France), Médiathèque du patrimoine et de la photographie

Built after the war of 1870 on 22 hectares at the gates of Paris, the fort of Saint-Cyr presents a perfectly preserved military architecture which earned it its classification as a historical monument in 1992.
This year, it will host a dozen cars representative of French production from the 1920s to the 1970s. Collectors affiliated with the French Federation of Vintage Vehicles (FFVE) will make you discover the history and characteristics of each of them. The vehicle exhibition will be held on Saturday only (Sunday afternoon subject) NB: access to the guardhouse on foot only, parking advised along the Fort road.

A remarkable element of 19th-century military architecture, the fort was built in 1875 to protect the city of Paris. The site has been assigned to the Ministry of Culture since 1982\. The buildings now house the Photographic Archives of the Media Library of Architecture and Heritage (Directorate-General of Heritage) and are used for the storage and conservation of photographs - soft negatives or glass plates, positive for projection, prints... - and archives.
