On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September, the museum opens its doors for free from 10am to 6pm. Come and enjoy a varied and entertaining programme during the European Heritage Days:
- Exclusive Guided Tours: Immerse yourself in the exhibitions "Artisans and artists of the Republican Guard" and "Gendarmes and sport". The exhibition "Artisans and artists of the Republican Guard" takes you into the captivating world of craftsmanship and art within the Republican Guard. The exhibition "Gendarmes and Sport" allows you to explore the close links between sport and the accomplishment of their essential missions, but also to discover how team spirit, courage, and surpassing oneself are at the heart of the gendarmerie.
- Unique Sports Experience: Participate in an orientation race around the museum or test your skills on the sports course on the forecourt. Immerse yourself in the sports training of the soldiers of the gendarmerie and discover their daily challenges.
- Escape game: Immerse yourself in the story of our brand new escape game! Explore the curator’s office, solve puzzles and discover the mystery behind the disappearance of a collectible. Do you dare to take up the challenge in 15 minutes?
- Badge workshop: Leave with a unique souvenir by creating your own badge on the theme of museum exhibitions. A fun way to extend your visit and take a little piece of heritage with you.
