As part of the Formes Olympiques 2023 festival, and to launch the last year of preparation for the Kami 2024 Olympic Games, our breaking champion we have been supporting for three years already with Monfort 2024, The Silvia Monfort Theatre will come alive to the rhythm of breaking on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Before attending a spectacular double breaking battle in the Georges Brassens Park from 2pm, enjoy an introduction to breaking offered by Kami, triple French breaking champion, at the studio of the Silvia Monfort Theatre. The Théâtre Silvia Monfort is a cultural establishment of the City of Paris located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, co-directed by Ninon Leclère and Jean-Baptiste Pasquier since January 2023, offering a multidisciplinary contemporary program. Before hosting a theatre, the place occupied by the theatre was successively dedicated to the vineyard, slaughterhouses, a market for horses, the circus... The theatre building, built by architect Claude Parent in the 1990s, has the astonishing shape of a 23-metre-high hexagonal pyramid overlooking Georges Brassens Park.
