Marbles, rich mosaic floors, gilding, carved ceilings, sculptures, reliefs and Napoleon III furniture make this particular hotel one of the most interesting architectural elements of the capital. Each room contains many details associated with sometimes original, sometimes surprising anecdotes that would make this place a real museum, if that could be the use.
Thus, in the waiting room of weddings - old dining room - one can see in the wall the trace of the impact of a bullet, underlined by this inscription: "22, May 1871 - 2 hours afternoon".
