Discovered on the occasion of the Biennale de la jeune création 2022, the La Graineterie art center wanted to invite Hanna Kokolo and Morgane Baffier to each present a solo exhibition around new works.
Winner of the last Biennale of young creation, Hanna Kokolo unfolds her work as a fiction whose heroine is her namesake. Through the orality, the writing and the staging of his story, the artist feeds, mythifies, and diverts the H(h)istory. Morgane Baffier develops performative lectures, both poetic and political. With a corrosive humor, she dissects existential subjects. For this exhibition, she is working on a new cycle of conferences around the letter X.
