About the location

Musée des Avelines
60 rue Gounod 92210 Saint-Cloud

Musée des Avelines, museum of art and history of Saint-Cloud near Paris, in a green setting, the Musée des Avelines, museum of art and history of Saint-Cloud, welcomes you for a discovery of the wealth of its heritage. The castle of Saint-Cloud, princely residence, royal and imperial, today disappeared, was the theater of the great pages of the History of France. Its porcelain factory made of Saint-Cloud in the eighteenth century a high place of the refinement of the arts of the table. The city of Saint-Cloud, a resort destination, has attracted many 19th century artists, seduced by its privileged location, a real «balcony on Paris». The museum is located in a villa of character where the past dialogue with contemporary art. Copyright: Carole Martin - Ville de Saint-Cloud
