This church is built on a property belonging to M. Feydeau, intendant of Paris, seigneur of Brou. The bell, which survived the Revolution, dates from 1748\. No priest administers the parish between the Revolution and November 7, 1931\. On this date, with the support of M. and Mme Thiébaut, an episcopal ordinance established the new parish boundaries, adding to the existing parish the city of Chemin and the subdivisions of Chantereine and La Villeneuve, located in the territory of Chelles. Saint Baudile is a martyr apostle who lived in Nimes around the second or third century.
