The Avon Cemetery was originally located around the Saint Peter’s Church. Under Charles X, for reasons of place and health, he was first transferred to the bottom of Rue de Condé before being installed in 1880 at the end of Chemin des Bellingants at the place called «les garennes d'Avon», where he is now.
