Lecture by Jean-Pierre Changeux, Honorary Professor at the Collège de France, member of the Academy of Sciences, donor of the Bossuet Museum Pioneer of the development of neuroscience in France, Jean-Pierre Changeux explores through a multidisciplinary approach the role that our brain plays in our perception of art. His work Le beau et la splendeur du vrai, published in 2023, the pivot of this conference, traces the intellectual adventure of a life through a series of interviews, and questions the neural mechanisms involved in the appreciation of beauty and the processes of artistic creation
