Conference: Women in perfumery: the hidden side of the industry
Long reserved for men, olfactory creation began to open its doors to women from the second half of the twentieth century. Behind a handful of big names, the perfume industry has for years remained the melting pot of entrenched stereotypes and gender inequalities. Back on a long path paved with good intentions, illuminated by the example of the Maison L.T. Piver and set in perspective with the sector of artistic creation.
This conference will be moderated by Antoine Furio, Cultural Heritage Inventory Officer at the Seine-Saint-Denis Department, with the intervention of Jessica Mignot, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Nez and Auparfum sites, and the active participation of Nelly Chenelat, President of L.T. Piver, and artists of POUSH, place of artists for creation and exhibition.
A project initiated by the cultural heritage department of the Seine-Saint-Denis department, in partnership with POUSH and the support of L.T. Piver.
