The archaeologists of the National Institute of Preventive Archaeological Research introduce you to the geology of millstones, the history and archaeology of millstones and mills. With demountable and manipulable models, you will rebuild a Gallo-Roman hydraulic mill to better understand the archaeological restitution. Workshop only within the framework of the European Heritage Days.

Built at the end of the XVIIth century, successively mill with water, industrial building, then particular(special) house of a doctor, the mill Russon was acquired(bought back) by the conurbation of Marne-et-Gondoire which entirely restored it. He joins the conservation area of the Brush and of Gondoire and he benefited from an environmental insertion revalorizing its park. He(It) is decorated with an ecological and pedagogic garden.
