Free, resolute and joyful, adapting to the frugal living conditions of the artistic and popular Montparnasse, Annette Giacometti, born Annette Arm, did not cease to pose for her husband, for whom she became inseparable from the work. At the death of Alberto Giacometti, she will ensure the protection of his work and will allow the creation of the Giacometti Foundation whose twenty years are celebrated this year. On the occasion of a guided tour, discover the exhibition-tribute «Annette en plus infiniment» which shows for the first time the different facets of this extraordinary personality.

The Institute is the reference place for Giacometti’s work on exhibitions, research and pedagogy
With a surface area of 350 m2, the Giacometti Institute is located at 5 rue Victor Schœlcher in the 14th arrondissement, district of Montparnasse where Giacometti lived and worked throughout his career. It is located in the former studio of the artist-decorator Paul Follot, a mansion classified Art Deco style, whose decors have been preserved, restored and refurbished.
