On Sunday, September 17, 2023, guided tours The Delloye World Heritage Pit are offered at the Mining Historical Center of Lewarde, in addition to the free visit of the exhibitions and the guided tour of the galleries. Located in Lewarde, in 8km east of Douai in the North, the Mining Historic Centre is at the heart of the mineral basin. It is installed(settled) on tile(window pane) of the old(former) pit Delloye which groups(includes) 8000m ² industrial buildings(ships) and superstructures, on a 8 hectare site. It is classified as "Historic Monument" since September, 2009.
