Discover or rediscover one of the most beautiful prefectures in France, that of the department of Oise. Former Abbey of Saint-Quentin de Beauvais, founded in the 11th century, this prestigious building has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1963. During this visit, you will be presented: the courtyard of honour, the departmental operational center (COD), the office of the prefect, the facade of the abbey palace, the hemicycle, the various salons and the chapel of the abbot.

Old(Former) augustine abbey, based(established) by 1067, the abbey Saint-Quentin of Beauvais knew a flourishing development in the course of Middle Ages. It lives(remains) of notables elements in spite of important refittings(reorganisations) and the post-revolutionary reconstructions, old(former) abbey having become in 1824 the Hotel of the prefecture. The park is also a remarkable element.
