Take part in a nature outing behind the scenes of the Temple Forest
"Behind the scenes of the Temple Forest: historical remains and current issues"
The event is co-hosted by Eve Dusacre, Forest Officer at the Forêt d'Orient Regional Nature Park and Coastal Guard, and Mathieu Huard, Head of the Radonvilliers Territorial Unit at the National Forestry Office. They will make us discover the State Forest of the Temple through, in particular, its management of yesterday and today and how the forest adapts to climate change. It will also discuss the scars of the Second World War, traces of Templar history, etc.
Course of 3/ 4 km approximately.
The appointment will be on the parking lot of the forest road of the Temple at 14:00. This road is on the D79 between Géraudot and Vendeuvre-sur-Barse, opposite the road leaving towards the Loge-Aux-Chèvres. From there, continue for 2 km to the car park.
