The purpose of the visit is to evoke the origins of the Pious of Saint Martin, while it was not integrated into the urban enclosure; its architecture, a true condensed of the great artistic currents with a Gothic choir, a crossing of the Renaissance transept and a Baroque facade; and finally its rich furniture, from 16th century statuary to contemporary stained glass.

Attested as early as the eleventh century, the priory of Saint-Martin settled outside the urban enclosure. It is the origin of a district that will be integrated into the enclosure of the middle of the fourteenth century. The current building is the result of several construction campaigns, staggered from the 13th to the 18th century. From the first period date the choir and most of the aisles of the nave. From the end of medieval times dates the hanging key of the central span.
The fire in 1725 provided an opportunity to transform the building, whose aisles were doubled respecting the original Gothic party. The Langrois architect Claude Forgeot reserved his creativity for the facade completed in 1745\. It is sober and symmetrical; the emphasis is on the framing of the portal, treated in forebody, decorated with an ionic order and topped with a curved pediment.
