Through the wandering in private courtyards and the examination of facades, the visit aims to show how the architecture of the Renaissance had difficulty to impose itself in the civil buildings of Langres. It was not until the second half of the sixteenth century that we finally saw a small milieu of exceptional architects, entrepreneurs and master masons, open up to humanistic culture and embark on beautiful achievements often unknown to the general public.
