The small medieval garden in the lices of the castle will welcome the public who can live a moment out of time. Demonstrations of calligraphy and comb weaving will be performed live.
The volunteers of the association who restore the castle will be in medieval costume for the occasion and will make you discover their work on the site for eight years.

The castle of Guirbaden, considered as the largest castle of Alsace with its 260 m of length, was certainly built around the XIth century by Hugues III of Eguisheim, in order to protect the property of the abbey of Altorf. Destroyed in 1633 at the time of the Swedish invasions, it was definitively destroyed by the French soldiers in 1657\. It is accessible from Mollkirch and Grendelbruch by hiking trails. The ruins were classified as historical monuments in 1898.
