A first chapel dedicated to Saint Andrew was built in the 11th century, then built as a parish church in 1125. Rebuilt in the mid-16th century, the building was consecrated in 1562. It is one of the few Renaissance churches in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Several modifications were made during the nineteenth century.
It has exceptional furniture: set of 14 windows of the Lobin workshop realized in the second half of the nineteenth century, Cavaillé-Coll organ of 1869, altar of the Virgin restored in 2006, Virgin with child of the ceramist Avisseau.
