A first chapel dedicated to Saint Andrew was built in the 11th century, then built as a parish church in 1125. Rebuilt in the mid-16th century, the building was consecrated in 1562. It is one of the few Renaissance churches in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Several modifications were made during the nineteenth century.
It has exceptional furniture: set of 14 windows of the Lobin workshop realized in the second half of the nineteenth century, Cavaillé-Coll organ of 1869, altar of the Virgin restored in 2006, Virgin with child of the ceramist Avisseau.
See also an original presentation of fragments of stained glass of the sixteenth century.

The original church was an 11th-century chapel, then erected as a parish in 1125\. Destroyed before the middle of the sixteenth century, it is replaced by the current building which is consecrated in 1562\. The church has no transept or right collateral. In deplorable condition, the building was restored in 1888\. A tirants vault replaced the ceiling and the current steeple was built to replace the old one which threatened to collapse. The Gothic style of this church is especially remarkable for all the stained glass windows made by the Lobin workshop from 1860 to 1870\. The organ was designed around 1869 by the famous organ builder Cavaillé-Coll and listed as a historical monument on 14 April 1982\. The fourteen glass windows of the Lobin workshop, a statue of Saint Roch in polychrome wood, a majestic neo-Gothic altar and the fragments of stained glass windows of the sixteenth century recovered and restored form a rich and remarkable furniture ensemble.
