Opened in 1963 under the label "Art house ", this independent complex, located at the foot of the wall(up against a wall) Gallo-Roman right in the centre of the historic city, is compound(made up) of seven rooms in the digital equipment last generation, of a library(bookcase) sheltering the most important collection of documents of the region Centre-Val de Loire of the Loire and of a cafeteria. Livened up(Led) and managed by more than sixty volunteers, a team of seventeen employees, as well as two hundred correspondents it is frequented by more than 370 000 audience a year and gathers(combines) more than 25 000 subscribers.
