As every year, the museum is open to the public for the European Heritage Days. You can visit the permanent route freely and discover a new sensational theme: «Danger at the museum». On the occasion of the return of «Atala to the tomb» in the collections, after 8 years of absence for restoration, the museum intends to explore the theme of danger, not only through the history from which Girodet was inspired to paint his painting, but also through the exceptional presentation of weapons and objects usually kept in the reserves.
