In complete autonomy, come and enjoy the warm atmosphere of Talcy, its architecture and exceptional furniture preserved since the eighteenth century before concluding with a walk in the 7 ha of gardens.
During the walk, the visitor will be surprised to discover the drawings and films of Jan Kopp highlighting the gestures of gardeners under the title «Make a garden», then the sound creations «Wild patience» of Eric La Casa to listen in the garden.

About the location

Château de Talcy
18 rue du Château, 41370 Talcy
  • Loir-et-Cher
  • Centre-Val de Loire
Built in 1520 for the Italian banker Bernardo Salviati, this charming house carries the imprint of loves of his Muses, Cassandre and Diana, with the poets Ronsard and Agrippa d' Aubigné. Facing the plain of Beauce ligérienne, the castle raises itself(draws itself up) in a green setting witness(baton) of its past of agricultural domain. Faithful to regional architecture, the castle kept(guarded) the rough aspect of the Gothic castles in Beauce Blésoise, but the elegant gallery, the well, inside furnished(filled) with a furniture of the XVIIIth century bring a note(mark) of delicacy to the place, which offers to the visitors a large garden, today redeveloped in orchard of collections (apple trees, pear trees, raspberry canes, hazels etc). In attached or free forms, his(her, its) massifs of annual or enduring flowers decorate the fruit collections of variety.
