A church under the influence of the archbishops of Bourges
The church of Chabris is quite special, having been influenced by the archbishops of Bourges. It has Romanesque parts (11th-12th centuries), other Gothic parts (15th century). The north transept, among others, is covered with stone (Merovingian and Carolingian). A gothic porch built under the aegis of Jean Coeur, archbishop of Bourges, has a rare stone of announcements.
The visit lasts about 1 hour, with the exterior, the interior with the crypt dedicated to the local saint and the seigneurial chapel.
