The parchment workshop is an associative workshop (1901 law) in Levroux Petite Cité de Caractère. This association aims at the conservation and transmission of the Levrousain heritage linked to parchment and its derivatives (the restoration of an ancient memegisserie in parchment workshop, its artisanal manufacture, its use and its history through the centuries. This association also aims to carry out an economic activity related to Parchment (purchase, sale of skins and derivatives. ) to finance the restoration of the building (purchase of materials, company interventions if necessary, etc. ) and create a link with people or associations interested in the Parchment.
