About the location

Parc sportif et de loisirs Beauregard
1, quai de la Loire 37210 Rochecorbon
  • Indre-et-Loire
  • Centre-Val de Loire
Within the perimeter of the remarkable heritage site (SPR) of the town of Rochecorbon, the Beauregard sports and leisure park was created in the second half of the 1930s by a Touraine entrepreneur selling sporting goods, Mr. Sellier. The acquisition of the site in 1935 was followed by the construction of the first indoor tennis court in Indre-et-Loire and an outdoor swimming pool that was very popular until the 1980s by many residents of Tours. The project initiated in September 2022 by the current owner aims to consolidate sports and leisure activities on the site, beautify it in accordance with the SP regulation, develop cultural mediation activities and promote biodiversity.
