A visit with two voices to discover the funeral heritage of the cemetery of Fleury-les-Aubrais.
This tour will evoke historical facts that took place in the town, from the war of 1870 to the deadly bombing of 1944. Dead in the war of 14, resistance fighters, prisoners of war… and the life of Fleury-les-Aubrais will also be discussed, as well as the evocation of former mayors.
This visit will also be an opportunity to recall the history of cemeteries, to describe the evolution of funeral furniture, its symbolism. An update will be made on the legislation of cemeteries: concessions, common ground, ossuaries, (…)
