Château de La Bussière

This year, and in line with the national theme, the Château de la Bussière wishes to highlight the living heritage and crafts. On this occasion, creators, restorative craftsmen and artisans of art will settle inside the castle to present their work and unique know-how. This exhibition in the heart of the Château de La Bussière will be an opportunity for them to share their passion by making it accessible to the public. Visitors will be able to discover or rediscover the castle from a new angle, as special visits will be organized to invite the public to pay more attention to the details, furniture and art objects that appear in the castle’s rooms. You will discover the secrets behind marquetry, ceramics and crystal cutting.
It is also an opportunity for you, visitors, to get in touch with quality craftsmen and ask them about their techniques, perhaps even to see them at work.
For the youngest, workshops will be organized to familiarize themselves with these crafts.

Le Château 45230 La Bussière

Pulled at the edge of a pond, this brick-built castle losangées of the XVIIth century shelters a collection of works of art on the freshwater fishing, melted in the family furniture. The castle is extended by large grain lofts of the XVIIth century. They reach it by two old(former) drawbridges. The visitors can also stroll(hang out) along the pond, in the park drawn by Ours and Édouard André, stroll(hang out) in the kitchen garden of the XVIIIth century, pick raspberries and discover in family the circuit of huts.
