Pagan place of worship, then basilica based(established) by St Martin in the IVth century originates, the current church, of Romanic style, was built on order of Hugues Ier from the XIIth century. Collateral south was doubled in the XVIth century and the collapsed bell tower was rebuilt in the XVIIIth century. On collateral north, to the right of the entrance(entry), is a funeral plate(patch) relating to a bricklayer died in 1571 and evoking the old(former) cemetery of Saint-Denis-Hors. The front-door, with archings adorned with foliages, is topped with a head of angel and with a statue of a saint. Besides sculptures and paintings(paints), the inside possesses sculpted capitals(big tops). One of them evoke the Roman de Renart, compilation of papers of the XIIth century. Also present, a chandelier(luster) of style gets worse offered by the emir Abd El Kader, in 1852, after 4 years of watched residence.
