On the occasion of European Heritage Day, the Emile Chénon Museum celebrates its artists! Since the beginning of the year, a convention between the museum and artists or artistic associations has been proposed. It allows artists to enjoy our museum free of charge as part of their artistic practice.
The artists who wish to meet you will show their achievements at the museum.

The oppidum of Châteaumeillant is occupied from the end of the IIIth century before Christ From 175 and to in years 75 before Christ, the city of Châteaumeillant participates in an intense business(trade) of the wine with Italy where from she sends for quantities of amphorae. A reconstruction of a cellar with amphorae, digital tools and especially the emphasising of bronzes discovered in wells give to the visitor an unique(only) look on the ancient history(story) of Châteaumeillant.
