It is because of the exceptional acoustics of the church of Chaux-Neuve that the Swiss cellist Mathieu Rouquie chose it to record Bach’s first six suites. On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, he will offer a recital on Sunday 17 September at 5 pm.
On the program: suite 1 in BWV 1007 and suite 6 in D major BWV 1012 by J.-S. Bach.
A time of exchange with the public over a drink will follow.
A guided tour of the five-hundred-year-old church is also planned at 3 p.m.
