The city of Chalon-sur-Saône is one of the few in France to still have a complete cathedral group (episcopal palace, canons' houses, church and cloister. Built from the 9th to the 16th century, the meeting of Romanesque and Gothic styles is quite harmonious. The cathedral is endowed with the most beautiful set of Romanesque capitals of Saône and Loire. The capitualire room and Lemoureux chapel, decorated with 15th century murals, will be visible during the visit. A tactile model of the cathedral is available to the visually impaired or visually impaired public at the entrance of the building**. Please note**: Hourly visits by a tour guide of the Cities and Countries of Art and History.
