The chapel, built between the autumn of 1928 and the summer of 1929, was inaugurated on June 2, 1929\. Auguste Perret (1874-1954), one of the greatest French architects and a concrete cantor, built this chapel on a commission from Canon Maurice Dutroncy. It was proposed to the Parisian architect to build a chapel according to the requirements of a very special program: the building was to accommodate a study room and two bedrooms on the ground floor and, on the floor, the chapel itself. Perret recommended the intervention of Marguerite Huré, a master glassmaker with whom he had already worked during the construction of the church of Notre-Dame du Raincy. Built in a short time, in 1928 and 1929, the chapel is very similar to that of Arcueil, the work of the Perret brothers, built in 1925.
