As part of the European Heritage Days in Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, Hervé Pelfini will be demonstrating sculpture in the museum garden. Practicing traditional sculpture on stone and wood, he now turns to recycling. Holding current Arte Povera, it transcends the materials recovered from the waste-houses in mainly animal sculptures of grotesque inspiration, halfway between the imaginary bestiary of churches and illuminations.
It invites young and old to exchange and share throughout these holidays and why not, come and try out sculpture!
