Nutzen Sie am Samstag, dem 16. und Sonntag, dem 17. September die letzten Eröffnungstage der Ausstellung «Erased» von Bertrand Meunier. Die Ausstellung «Erased» bietet in etwa 80 Silberdrucke, Videos, Installationen, Zeitungsausschnitte und einen erneuerten Blick auf die langjährige Arbeit des Fotografen in China von 1999 bis 2019. Bertrand Meunier hat durch regelmäßige Aufenthalte die Veränderungen in China während der letzten zwanzig Jahre, von der Integration des Landes in die Welthandelsorganisation (2001) bis zu den Demonstrationen in HongkongKong von 2019-2020, bevor der COVID-Ausbruch das Land für Ausländer schloss.
Ein Text des Journalisten Pierre Haski (Korrespondent für Libération en Chine während sechs Jahren in den 1990er Jahren), begleitet ein Buch über die «chinesischen» Arbeiten von Bertrand Meunier (bei EXB) und dient als Leitfaden für die Szenografie der Ausstellung. Koproduzierte Ausstellung mit dem Museum der Fotografie von Charleroi.

Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September, enjoy the last opening days of the exhibition «Erased», by Bertrand Meunier. The exhibition «Erased» offers some 80 silver prints, videos, installations, press clippings, a renewed look at the long-term work carried out by the photographer in China from 1999 to 2019. Bertrand Meunier has, through regular visits, been able to grasp the transformations of China during the last twenty years, from its integration into the World Trade Organization (2001) to the demonstrations in Hong-KongKong from 2019-2020, before the COVID outbreak closed the country to foreigners.
A text by the journalist Pierre Haski (correspondent for Libération in China for six years during the 1990s), accompanies a book dedicated to the «Chinese» work of Bertrand Meunier (published by EXB) and serves as a guiding thread for the scenography of the exhibition. Exhibition co-produced with the Museum of Photography in Charleroi.

Sabato 16 e domenica 17 settembre, approfittate degli ultimi giorni di apertura della mostra «Erased», di Bertrand Meunier. L'esposizione «Erased» propone in circa 80 stampe argentate, video, installazioni, ritagli di stampa, uno sguardo rinnovato sul lavoro a lungo termine, condotto dal fotografo in Cina dal 1999 al 2019. Bertrand Meunier ha saputo, con soggiorni regolari, cogliere le trasformazioni della Cina durante gli ultimi vent'anni, dall'integrazione di quest'ultima nell'Organizzazione mondiale del commercio (2001) alle manifestazioni a Hong-KongKong del 2019-2020, prima che l'epidemia di COVID chiudesse il paese agli stranieri.
Un testo del giornalista Pierre Haski (corrispondente di Libération in Cina per sei anni negli anni '90), accompagna un libro dedicato al lavoro «cinese» di Bertrand Meunier (alle edizioni EXB) e serve da filo conduttore alla scenografia della mostra. Mostra coprodotta con il museo della fotografia di Charleroi.

L’exposition « Erased » propose en quelque 80 tirages argentiques, des vidéos, des installations, des coupures de presse, un regard renouvelé sur le travail au long cours, mené par le photographe en Chine de 1999 à 2019. Bertrand Meunier a, par des séjours réguliers, su saisir les transformations de la Chine durant les vingt dernières années, de l’intégration de cette dernière à l’Organisation mondiale du commerce (2001) aux manifestations à Hong-Kong de 2019-2020, avant que l’épidémie de COVID ne ferme le pays aux étrangers.
Un texte du journaliste Pierre Haski (correspondant pour Libération en Chine durant six ans pendant les années 1990), accompagne un livre dédié au travail « chinois » de Bertrand Meunier (aux éditions EXB) et sert de fil conducteur à la scénographie de l’exposition.

El sábado 16 y domingo 17 de septiembre, disfrute de los últimos días de apertura de la exposición «Erased», de Bertrand Meunier. La exposición «Erased» propone en unos 80 impresiones argenticas, vídeos, instalaciones, recortes de prensa, una mirada renovada sobre el trabajo a largo plazo, realizado por el fotógrafo en China desde 1999 hasta 2019. Bertrand Meunier ha sabido, mediante estancias regulares, captar las transformaciones de China durante los últimos veinte años, desde la integración de esta última a la Organización Mundial del Comercio (2001) hasta las manifestaciones en Hong-KongKong de 2019-2020, antes del brote de COVID cerró el país a los extranjeros.
