The Memorial of the Deportees reviews the history of the city of Murat in 1944. In 2 days, 121 muratais will be shot or deported to Germany as retaliation. Plunged into darkness, you will be as soon as you arrive in direct contact with the place. Guided by a sound and lights, you will advance step by step in a gallery and relive in images the resistance, the deportation, the survival in the concentration camps. Not recommended for children under 12. Visits on reservation required, space limited to 10 people per visit.

This memorial perpetuates the memory of the 121 Muratais arrested by the German army on 12 and 24 June 1944\. A hundred were deported to the Neuengamme camp in northern Germany.
Plunged into darkness you will be as soon as you arrive in direct contact with the places. Guided by sound and lights, visitors are invited to relive in images the Resistance, the Deportation, the survival in concentration camps through the epic of the Muratais. Visit by reservation.
